Ancient Wisdom. Meaningful Connection. Conscious Living.
We believe that true wellbeing begins with simplicity, authenticity, and connection.
At Anokhi, we honour the traditions of yoga and Ayurveda while embracing modern approaches to holistic wellbeing. Our intention is not to create luxury, but to make authentic wellness experiences more accessible without compromising on quality, thoughtful design, or genuine hospitality.
Every detail - from our yoga shala and café to our community gatherings - is designed to support presence, learning, and meaningful connection.

Anokhi Experience

Many guests arrive for a few days and leave feeling part of something much bigger.

Our heritage home offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Mysore's yoga community.

Guests can enjoy:
Boutique accommodation with private en-suite rooms
A beautiful yoga shala
A healthy café serving fresh vegetarian and vegan cuisine
Holistic therapies and wellness treatments
Community events, workshops, and cultural experiences
A warm international community of practitioners and travellers

We bake our own bread, create seasonal menus, and keep an open kitchen - where transparency and warmth are part of the experience.

Guided by earth-conscious values:

  •  Zero single-use plastics

  •  Waste segregation into four streams

  •  Composting organic materials

  •  Solar-supported energy usage

A meal here is more than nourishment -
it’s a slow moment of connection under the Mysore sun.

Our Story

For nearly two decades, Anokhi Garden has welcomed yoga practitioners from across the world.

Originally nurtured by Italian, French, and Swiss owners, Anokhi has always been a place where people came together through yoga and community.

In 2020, Aditya Damani took over the stewardship of Anokhi Garden,

inspired by its unique spirit and the opportunity to continue its journey.
After many years in finance and investing, Aditya found his path in Mysore through yoga and its vibrant international community. Today, he leads the vision and development of Anokhi, expanding it into a boutique yoga guesthouse, café, wellness community, and growing international platform that connects teachers, retreat leaders, practitioners, and conscious hospitality spaces across India and Europe.

His vision is simple: to make authentic wellness experiences more accessible while preserving the cultural roots of yoga and creating meaningful collaborations between people, places, and traditions.
